Concert Tickets for Jay-Z – Blueprint 3 Tour Schedule

Jay-Z in Indianapolis at Conseco Fieldhouse on March 20, 2010!

Shawn Corey Carter, aka Jay-Z, cancelled the remainder of his 2009 tour because of “unforeseen scheduling conflicts”. However, he did announce his second leg of Blueprint 3 tour after being onstage with U2 at the MTV European Music Awards. So far there are about 19 confirmed concerts. A few larger cities such as New York and Atlantic City have just been added to the tour schedule, but some larger cities such as Chicago are missing. Does this mean that he hasn’t added them to his schedule yet? Or will he be doing another small “private” show like he did this past year in Chicago and New York (I wonder why he holds these secret shows when he performs as venues such as Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and Yankee Stadium)? Or will he be skipping over it? I guess we will find out. Either way I know these tickets go fast, keep checking www.broadrippletickets.com for tickets to the show at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Jay-Z’s newest album (and his 11th studio album), The Blueprint 3, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200, still in the top 50, and sold almost 500,000 copies in its first week. This is no surprise since he has the most #1 albums on the Billboard 200 (by a solo artist).

His eleven albums include:
• Reasonable Doubt (1996) – in Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” and reaching platinum status
• In My Lifetime, Vol. 1 (1997) – produced by Sean Combs (Puff Daddy)
• Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life (1998) – certified 5x Platinum in the US
• Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter (1999)
• The Dynasty: Roc La Familia (2000) – introduced The Neptunes, Just Blaze, Kanye West, and Bink!
• The Blueprint (2001) – certified 3x Platinum in the US and written in only two days
• The Blueprint²: The Gift & the Curse (2002) – debuted number 1 on Billboard 200
• The Black Album (2003) – made after Jay-Z announced his retirement
• Kingdom Come (2006) – features producers such as Just Blaze, Pharrell, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, and Chris Martin from Coldplay
• American Gangster (2007) – inspired by the movie with Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe, wanted to represent his street experiences
• The Blueprint 3 (2009) – helped him surpass Elvis Presley’s record for most number 1 albums

Jay-Z has also had a few collaboration albums, working with R. Kelly and Linkin Park. Jay-Z has also worked with many other hit artists and had many hit songs.

Examples of work with other artists:
• “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)”
• “Can I Get A…” feat. Ja Rule and Amil
• “I Know What Girls Like” feat. Lil’ Kim and Puff Daddy
• “Big Pimpin” feat. UGK

• “Show Me What You Got”
• “Run This Town” feat. Rihanna and Kanye West
• “Empire State of Mind” feat. Alicia Keyes, was a #1 on Billboard 200 and still in top few songs in Billboard Hot 100.
